My Important Object

I will describe about my important object.The object that I am describing is made of imitation leather.It is a square object.If it is closed,the measure is 17 x 8 cm but if it is opened,the measure is 16 x 17 cm.The color s blue.It is a big doll picture in front part of the object and small doll pictures around the big doll picture.The object ridge is sewed with brown thread.It has 8 pockets which used to put many kinds object,such as:money,coins,photos,identity cards,etc.It is also a small mirror inside the object.

I very like it unless it s rumpled and the color is pale.It is very important and I always bring it if I go to somewhere.I had the object from a special friend when I celebrated my 18th birthday.That object always makes me remember him.I like that object.

Goa Maria Kerep Ambarawa(GMKA)

It is goa Maria Kerep Ambarawa.Goa Maria Kerep is a place That is used to pray for Catholic people.It's located in Ambarawa,Semarang,Central Java.There is a small cave and a Saint Mary sculpture in side of the cave.People usually pray in front of the cave.Beside the cave,there is a big Jesus cross.In the west side,there is a small chapel and a greenhouse.It is usually used to many kinds events,such as,mass,retreat,meeting,etc..In the east side,there is a beautiful large garden.The garden is grown by green grasses,Casuarina trees,and flowers.There is also some fish pool in the garden.
Everyday,Goa Maria Kerep always crowded because many people come to make devotional visit or just look around.That place keeps a lot of beautiful memories in my mind.When I was in Junior high school,I often went to GMKA if I want to pray.Sometimes,I went to there with my special friend.It's a comfortable place to pray.

CHEER UP..!!!

At 7-8 September 2008 I went to Wonogondang to joined in EWD.EWD is English Welcoming Days.It's followed by all of new PBI students in Sanata Dharma.I think it was very interesting.
I went to "Bumi Perkemahen Wonogondang" by truck.I felt affraid because it's first time I went to somewhere by truck.The journey to Wonogondang was very beautiful.I was enjoyed the journey because I saw beautiful scenery.Wonogondang is a cold place so when I arrived there I didn't bath,I just washed my face.
At the night there were "yel-yel" and talent show competitions.After that,I went to sleep.
At the midnight when I slept,I was surprised because the comites made me wake up.I must joined the tracking with my group.I didn't like the tracking because in that moment I must passed the forest,it was very scared for me.
The next day,there was a interesting sesion,it's the outbond.I liked that because there was the challenge for my group.There was many game,e.g:bambu gila,tembok berlin,pipa bocor,tarzan kota,egrang,etc.The outbond made us wet.I think,it's the most interesting session in EWD.
At 4 o'clock,my friend and I went to home.We went to home by truck again.I was very happy when I arrived at my home again because I could sleep in my bed...

about me

I'm Lia.My full name is Francisca Yulia Martaningrum.I'm 18 years old.I come from Ambarawa,Semarang,Central Java.Now I live in a boarding house at Jalan STM Pembangunan 19 Mrican.I like reading,listening to the music,and look at the stars.
I join PBI in Sanata Dharma because I want to be an English teacher.I think it is an interesting job.I say that because all English teacher must have the ability to share their knowledge to other people.They also must be able to make the students understand the subject.They are also demanded to understand the students that have different and various characters.It's a challenge for me.
I hope I can reach my wish to be a teacher,so I really want to carry on to study hard and seriously.I will do my best so that I can be a good teacher after I graduate from Sanata Dharma University.
